Dana speaks about the benefits of exercise for breast cancer survivors at an event for the Ocean County Cancer Coalition. In May of 2010 Dana also received her certification as a Post- Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist through The Pink Ribbon Program and is privileged to be able to work with Breast Cancer Survivors.

"...Pilates had helped with my back pain and I thought it was a great form of exercise, so I decided to become an instructor through the Balanced Body University Instructor Training Program. But I didn't find any existing Pilates studios in the area to work for, so I decided to start my own in Toms River. I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring something new to the area."

"...About $1,000 was raised for the Ocean County Cancer Coalition during a fundraiser held by a local pilates studio last month. The event, dubbed "Pilates for Pink" was held at Pilates By The Bay, which opened in downtown Toms River in March (2008)."
