About Us: Instructors
Dana has a background in dance, studying for over 15 years. In 2003 she received her group fitness and personal training certifications and
became a fitness instructor. Dana started practicing pilates in 2001 when she began to have chronic back pain and loved how pilates taught
proper movement and muscle use to manage her pain and balance her body. She received her pilates instructor certification through Balanced
Body University and Lesley Powell with Movements Afoot in NYC. In March of 2008 Dana opened Pilates By The Bay and brought Ocean
County its first professional pilates studio. In the summer of 2009 Dana was introduced to KINESIS and was impressed with how functional and
natural the exercises were. She felt everyone would benefit tremendously from the program and opened REVIVE Fitness & Kinesis in
November of 2009. Dana is passionate about providing intelligent pilates and fitness instruction that educates and enhances the physical
well-being of her clients.

Ellen Mosko, Instructor
Darlene has been working in the health and fitness field for over 20 years. She has been certified in group fitness training and has extensive
experience in group exercise and personal training. Through many years of teaching high impact sports she began to experience knee pain. In
her search to find a better way to exercise, Darlene found pilates. In 2008 Darlene received her pilates mat certification and began teaching
pilates mat work. In 2009 she began her Reformer training with Balanced Body University. Darlene also became certified as a KINESIS
instructor and enjoys seeing her clients benefit from both programs. Darlene whole-heartedly believes in the connection between mind and
body in fitness and believes there is nothing we cannot achieve if we put our minds to it.
Ellen Mosko, RYT-500, is an Anusara-Inspired yoga instructor. Ellen comes from a background in Wall Street where stress was constant.
Needing more balance in her life she turned to yoga and her path became clear. Ellen teaches both public and private classes in Monmouth
and Ocean counties. In her classes and workshops she invites students to discover the light within and reflect the beauty of their light through
the unique expression of asana (yoga postures), creating joy and freedom in every moment. Through the challenge of yoga practice, students
are encouraged to move toward their edge with awareness and ease, to discover a place where the body is aligned physically, subtle energy
flows freely and there is a revelation of the true self; which is joy.
